Lightning storms!

The Earths pinpoint areas for lightning storms are in the mid-west of America, Argentina and some regions of the Sahara Desert!

As i have talked about before the Andes and Rockies again are a place for very strong storms. In this case lightning storms are quite dangerous round the east of United States in the Rockies and the east of Argentina in the Andes.

A collision of different types of air masses also forms intense storms in semi-arid regions!

Worlds worst Storms!

The area with the worst storms in the world would be east of the Rocky mountains and east of the Andes in Argentina.

Areas such as the edge of the Sahara where it is very warm and dry have very intense storms such as tornados!

Places like the Amazon have lots of rainfall which results in intense thunderstorms!

Storms in the United States

Storms are all around the world, they are very dangerous, destructive and unpredictible.

Storms can be very dangerous for example hurricane Katrina which is one of the most destructive hurricanes to hit the United States!

Its winds reached up to 175 mph and its minimum central pressure dropped as low as 902 millibars!!!
